Join the CE Student Chapter for an engaging educational session exploring the critical role of process safety in chemical engineering, through the real-life events portrayed in the Deepwater Horizon movie. This event aims to provide a unique perspective on the importance of engineering ethics, risk assessment, and safety protocols within high-stakes industrial environments.

Through the lens of a real-life disaster, this session will open the floor for reflection and discussion on the challenges chemical engineers face in maintaining safe and sustainable operations. All CE (and PSE) students are encouraged to attend and engage in a post-screening discussion on the technical and ethical lessons portrayed in the film.
