The KAUST Consulting Club will be hosting an interactive session with two consultants from Boston Consulting Group (BCG). This event aims to give students direct exposure to the consulting industry through the perspective of practitioners currently working at one of the world’s leading consulting firms.

About the Speaker:
Maha AlAbduljabbar is a Saudi youth advocate and global voice in cultural diplomacy, social innovation, and inclusive development. She currently serves as a Consultant and CEO Ambassador at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she works across Private Equity, Technology, Media, AI, and Public Sector projects, contributing to strategic initiatives that drive economic and social transformation in the region. She has advised government entities, global NGOs, and sovereign wealth funds on projects related to economic diversification, digital transformation, and social impact. Also at the firm, she actively supports BCG’s Jeel Tamooh program, mentoring 150 of Saudi Arabia’s next generation of youth leaders every year.
Beyond her professional career, Maha has established herself as one of the region’s most influential young changemakers. During her leadership as Curator of the Riyadh Global Shapers Hub under the World Economic Forum, she revitalized the hub, cementing it as the number one in MENA for projects amongst 40+ hubs. She is also the founder of Spark Social Innovation and co-founder of a cultural NGO, backed by HRH the Crown Prince’s Foundation (Misk), aiming to empower youth in addressing the growing need for culturally grounded, globally capable leadership.
Anchored in her dedication to global engagement, her pioneering research on cultural diplomacy, conducted with Dr. Thoraya Obaid and honored under the patronage of HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan, received two national awards from S4CC. Using these insights, Maha has represented Saudi Arabia during negotiations and discussions at the G20 Y20 Summit, the UN ECOSOC, and the U.S. Department of State's international exchange. Her voice resonates across TEDx, Misk Global Forum, and Global Labor Markets Conference, amplifying inclusive development and youth participation in innovation and policy.
Her work has been recognized globally with two Guinness World Records, BCG’s global “Key to Purpose” award for “Drive Inspired Impact” as the first Saudi, and her selection as a Young Arab Pioneer under the patronage of HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Arab Youth Center (AYC). Through her work, she continues to bridge perspectives, drive conversations on Saudi Arabia’s transformation, and empower youth to take an active role in shaping the future.

The session will cover three key elements:
1. The Nature of Consulting Work at BCG – The speakers will share insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of consultants, team dynamics, and the impact of their work on clients.
2. Case Study Demonstration – The consultants will collaboratively walk through a real-world style case, showcasing problem-solving techniques, structured thinking, and client communication.
3. Application Tips & Career Advice – The session will conclude with practical guidance on the application and interview process, as well as general advice for students aspiring to enter the consulting field.

This event will provide students with unique opportunities to learn directly from BCG professionals, sharpen their understanding of consulting problem-solving methods, and gain valuable career insights.
