We are excited to invite you to participate in the University Innovation Challenge, a national competition organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA). This challenge provides an opportunity for university teams with a faculty mentor to develop innovative, practical solutions to real-world challenges across three sectors: the environment (vegetation cover and afforestation); water (water scarcity); and agriculture (food waste).
WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
• Address real-world challenges: Develop innovative solutions for pressing issues in the environment, water, and agriculture sectors.
• Innovation experience: Apply your creativity, technical knowledge, and entrepreneurial thinking to solve national challenges.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork: Collaborate with students and a faculty mentor to transform ideas into impactful solutions.
• Recognition & visibility: Showcase your ideas to experts from government, academia, and industry, with the opportunity to contribute to national innovation priorities.
