We are hosting our last session for the 2024 Fall semester. During our sessions, you will get to learn about the basics of Arabic calligraphy using various tools and styles. After covering Diwani, Naskh, and Thuluth styles, we are continuing with Ruqa'a. We will also bring Pilot parallel pens to easily practice with inks on glossy papers so you can write your name or anything else you prefer.

Whether you want to simply watch the Club calligraphers writing or to practice by yourself, you are more than welcome! You do not need to have any prior knowledge of the Arabic language or calligraphy. Although we are a Student Organization, we are not limited to only hosting students as attendees, we can also welcome adult community members. We also invite you to come with your friends and family members if they are visiting you on campus. Each session is designed to work independently from one another, so you will never feel like you missed out on previous sessions even if it is your first time joining us. We also usually serve nice Arabic coffee, dates, and sweets during our sessions for everyone to enjoy.

Sponsored by the Office of Student Life, Student Affairs.
