We are hosting our very first calligraphy session of the Fall semester, which is part of an exciting new program where you’ll discover the beauty of Arabic calligraphy, more specifically the graceful Naskh script, with the guidance of Dr. Mohammed Sait.
Whether you’d like to learn or simply watch the Club calligraphers practicing, you’re warmly welcome! We’ll provide everything you need — paper, pens, inks — so just bring your curiosity. No prior experience in Arabic or calligraphy is required, and you can join any session even if you’ve missed earlier ones.
To make the experience even more enjoyable, we usually serve nice Arabic coffee, dates, and sweets during our sessions for everyone to enjoy.
Although we are a Student Organization, our doors are open to the wider KAUST adult community members. Feel free to also bring along visiting friends and family to enjoy the art and the atmosphere.
