Welcome to the KAUST Rapid Chess Tournament! Compete with the KAUST community and test your chess skills in a friendly and engaging environment! We will be using a 10+3 rapid format — each player will have 10 minutes with an additional 3 seconds increment per move.
The tournament will be divided into 4 groups, each with 10 players. Every player will participate in 5 rounds of games within their group.
After these initial rounds, the top 4 players from each group will advance to the elimination stage. The elimination games will determine the final standings and eventual tournament champion.
