This session aims to provide you with a deeper understanding of the working environment at Google and the various tech roles. By getting a better understanding of the responsibilities Googlers have, you'll gain valuable insights into what it takes to work at Google and build for everyone. . # About the Speakers: **Tara Ojo - Software Engineer - **Tara studied Computer Science with Multimedia at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. Tara has worked in edTech, eCommerce, and other industries before joining the London office as a Software Engineer. She currently works within Research on projects in the healthcare space. . **Andrei Timofticiuc - Software Engineer Fitbit -** Timo has over 12 years of software development experience and is always curious to see what's under the hood of software systems. He specializes in iOS development, having worked on projects from small startups all the way to large-scale businesses, with global mobile products used daily by millions of users. He is a certified cat lover and part-time musical artist. . **Jan Dudziec - Site Reliability Engineer -** Jan is Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for protecting, providing for, and progressing the software and systems behind several Google's public services with an ever-watchful eye on their availability, latency, performance, and capacity. Since joining the company he has been working in the Cloud Defense SRE team in the Warsaw office. . **Alizée Popów - Program Manager -** Alizée is a Program Manager for Student Talent Outreach. Her role revolves around supporting student and graduate candidates in their pathways to Google EMEA with a special focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. . **Tenni Cole-Etti - Technical Recruiter -** Tenni is a Technical Recruiter, responsible for providing talent to several product areas within London and Ireland. Since starting back in 2017, his role has been to act as a subject-matter expert and advisor to multiple clients helping to source for different roles. Using his knowledge of the market and these recruitment processes, he has been able to identify gaps in business talent needs and source candidates to address them.
