Summary and objectives: The goal of this workshop is to help researchers improve their chances of publication success as well as maximize the impact of their research after publication. This workshop will provide practical insights and strategies to help attendees achieve this goal.

1. Communicating research with the public
Given the lack of a scientific background for most public readers, this module focuses on how to discuss complex scientific ideas in a clear and simple manner. The ideas on how to communicate complex scientific ideas to the public who likely do not have scientific backgrounds will be introduced. Additionally, some of the common mistakes when describing complex ideas, such as using technical jargon or not explaining theories that may be unclear or unknown to the public will be discussed.

1. Effective Research Sharing and Communication with Generative AI
Generative AI is revolutionizing the way we share and promote research. In this module, you will learn to use AI tools to brainstorm ideas, generate engaging press releases, and craft social media posts that reach a broader audience. Other platforms for communicating your research will be discussed. Some practical techniques for prompt engineering to transform complex research into accessible, captivating content will be covered. By the end of this session, researchers will be equipped with the skills to elevate their science communication and broaden research's reach.
