KAUST SPE Student chapter invites you to attend the webinar "An Action Plan for Carbon Capture and Storage in California: Opportunities, Challenges and Solutions".

California is a leader in addressing climate change. With some of the strongest decarbonization targets in the country — carbon neutrality by 2045, and net-negative emissions thereafter — California continues to pursue innovative policies to achieve ambitious emissions reductions. Carbon capture paired with permanent geologic storage offers a viable and important option for reducing emissions from the industrial and electricity sectors that are key contributors to California's economy and the reliability of its grid. Please join us next thursday to know more about carbon capture and storage technology!
