This session will explore how these markets can drive the next generation of sustainability breakthroughs—from reforestation and blue carbon to cutting-edge carbon removal technologies. The discussion will also highlight how voluntary carbon markets attract private capital and create opportunities for measurable, scalable impact.

Whether you are a graduate student exploring climate-related careers, a researcher developing breakthrough carbon technologies, a consultant advising on sustainability strategies, or part of KAUST’s operational teams working to decarbonize campus systems, voluntary carbon markets offer a unifying platform to expand your impact and contribute to a low-carbon future.
