Get ready for a night of laughter bigger and wilder than before. This time, comedians from the UK, Italy, Lebanon, and Egypt hit the stage with their best jokes, plus a brand-new twist created just for KAUST: a one-of-a-kind Comedy Game Show!

Think Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? but flipped into Who Wants to Be a PhD?, where comedians pitch absurd “scientific” ideas and YOU get to be the judges. Add in Shark Tank for totally useless inventions, improv games based on your suggestions, and a whole lot of unexpected chaos… this is comedy like you’ve never seen it.

Join us for an evening full of laughter and good vibes at KAUST Comedy Night! Featuring hilarious stand-up acts, it’s the perfect way to unwind and have a great time with friends and the community.

Event details: 

• Date: Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025
• Time: 07:00 p.m. to 09:30 p.m. (stick around after the show, meet the comedians, and take photos in the B20 lobby). 
• Location: Building 20, Auditorium  
• The event will only be accessed by the KAUST community over 18 years old. Anyone under 18 years old will not be admitted to the venue or this event. 

No registration is required; attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

• Doors will open for graduate students at 6:40 p.m. so they can take their seats.
• Doors for community members will open at 6:50 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nadim B:

Nadim is a seasoned Strategy Director with 12 years of experience in advertising and branding. Outside the office, he’s either attempting to make his 3-year-old laugh—though she’s yet to be impressed—or delivering one-liners on stage as a stand-up comedian. Known for his unique comedic style, he leaves audiences either laughing along or delightfully puzzled. With a few years of comedy under his belt, Nadim has performed across the UAE and was a participant in the 2024 Abu Dhabi Comedy Festival.

Noha Bashir:

Noha Bashir is a bilingual Egyptian Canadian host and comedian based in Dubai. She is known for her crowd work, whether it’s a large theatre or small intimate show. She spent 20 years in the corporate world, leading and training tech teams in the GCC, Europe and the Americas before leaving it all to pursue a full time career in entertainment in the GCC. She has performed in Dubai Comedy Festival, Abu Dhabi Comedy Week, Edinburgh comedy festival and more. She has toured across the UAE, UK, Egypt and KSA. She has hosted events for top clients across the region including: Chanel, Forbes, Snapchat, Meta, UAE National day, Reuters and more.

Rebecca How:

Rebecca is a high-energy comic and unapologetic oversharer who believes the best way through life’s mishaps is to laugh at them, loudly. She’s taken two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, toured across five UK festivals, and picked up nods as a Funny Women semi-finalist and One to Watch. 

With four Dubai Comedy Festivals under her belt, she’s been described as “confident and crowd-pleasing… everybody will find something relatable in her hilarious tales.” Mischievous, relatable, and never afraid to say the thing everyone else is just thinking, Rebecca makes oversharing an art form.

Valentina:

Valentina is an Italian musician, comedian and producer of musicals and Italian variety shows in Italy and UAE. Valentina is known for her musical comedy, and has recently won the "Survival of the Funniest" competition in Dubai. Valentina is a working mom who loves to use comedy and music as she talks about living in Dubai, the uphill struggle of losing weight after pregnancy as well as navigating the world of recruitment and trying to find a job.
