Join us for an engaging seminar on enhancing oil recovery in shales using molecular dynamics and experimental observations by Prof. Deepak Devegowda.

Prof. Devegowda is Professor and Mewbourne Chair of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He obtained his MS and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. His PhD work and subsequent research focused on the use of data assimilation techniques for reservoir characterization. His current research also encompasses fundamental atomistic/molecular modeling to understand the processes behind carbon sequestration, hydrogen storage and unconventional oil and gas recovery. He also works extensively on subsurface applications of machine learning.

Mark your calendars and join us for this enlightening seminar. Refreshments will be provided.
