2. Sustainability Seminar Series

3. Be Part of the Week of Awareness Organizing Team!
One of our signature initiatives is the Week of Awareness (WoA), in collaboration with Sustainability Week International! The week is full of diverse events including talks, workshops and movie nights. This semester, WoA will be themed around eliminating single-use plastics, a week-long campaign starting May 30th that will forerun the plastic fee launch in Tamimi. 4.Reuse & Recycle Your Electronics with the Repair Focus Group

Do you know that around 50 million tonnes of electronic waste is being thrown away each year, enough Eiffel Towers to fill the whole of Manhattan? Over the last decade, e-waste grew by 38% but less than 20% is recycled. Join this self-driven focus group to learn together how to repair and fix your own electronics. email Liubov Gaba at liubov.gapa@kaust.edu.sa to be added. 


5. Volunteer for Donation Store Sorting & Sales for March 2021

6.Future General Body Meetings will Be More Interactive and Fun
Many members expressed that they feel hesitant to engage because we don't socially interact as much (Bad COVID-19!). Gladly, we are now allowed to meet in person in line with the Keep KAUST Safe Guidelines. I am here to listen and to empower everyone to act, and I promise to create a more inclusive and dynamic atmosphere. If you have fun ideas for our future monthly meetings, please email me!
